Garden after rain

Once again sudden showers since a few days. Hyderabad weather is becoming unpredictable. This year almost all the months we had a few days without sunlight. I felt that was not the normal Hyderabad weather. I used to crib about the hot days we used to have in October where you could even make some vadams and sun-dry them! Not so this year.

The plants seem to enjoy this sudden blessings. This morning the garden gave me a pretty picture with so many colors . Here are some of the shots , which are not doing justice to the actual site that greeted me at sunrise.

I am not adding those red tomato laden plants or the purple, green brinjal laden ones. I am showing off this new plant of mine which is a creeper. Yes, I finally got the creeper and a few Dondakaya too. The flowers are white and the leaves are pretty dark green, and I am glad Sandeepgaru shared that plant with me. Thanks!

Here is another exotic flower , I got from the street vendor. I did not know how the flowers will be , but the Manoranjitham did not disappoint me!They are so cute and delicate.

another small plant giving so many buds. the good old Ixora!

More pictures and narrations coming soon.. Picture bhaki hai:-)

About gardenerat60

As you guessed, I am a retired executive, looking for hobbies. Stumbled into gardening after reading blogs. Always wanted to use eco-friendly items in daily life. So, there was no heistation in deciding to put the vast terrace balcony to use for organic garden.
