I know most of you have already read about everyone’s’ garden blooming after the rains.
So what’s special about mine?
It is special, because, we were so starved for water, the plants were wilting, every day I was sending silent prayers, searching the sky for rain clouds. Till 17th of June , I had to watch my tomato plants get burnt, wilt and die. My dear Raath ki rani tree, got burnt!
Don’t you agree that the arrival of rains for my garden is special ?
Look at those plants all back to life. The great survivors, brinjals, flowering ,and giving first fruits. My special jasmines; Mangalore Mallige, Juhi, with fragrant flowers. The various Gourd plants that were sown for greening the heaps in Amrit Mitti bags. The new Amrit Mitti heap with small seedlings coming up to green the heap.
The capsicum , the Cauliflower plants that I bought the last week from Public Garden. It is a pleasure to start all over again!
Can you spot the bee!
