What ???????? How perfect their lives going to be , without some adjustments and tolerance? They might as well stage a show!

If anyone invited me and said not to bring kids, then the invitees can get lost.. simple ..
my house doors are open to all. if you dont want kids dont invite the people who have kids .. and I will also not like parents who would leave their kids in someone else’s care just to go and have some fun.. I am sure they can have more fun with their kids ..
I know I am a weird person
Oh no.. you are a thoughtful person and sensitive too!
Imagine sending invites like that in India! . People will simply not go!
Totally agree with your comment, except about you 🙂
I’ve been pondering this post for a couple of days. Our daughter had lots of children at her wedding and with the exception of two, it was great. These two children ran riot in the church sat at my daughter and soninlaws feet at the altar and generally made a nuisance of themselves.
Sometimes we want things to be perfect like the photos I have of my daughter taking her wedding vows – however they are all with these two children. I have three children and when they were young I would never dream of letting them intrude in this way and misbehave. They were brought up to behave; as we say there is a time and a place for everything 🙂 Do I sound harsh? 😳
No, you sound sensible. BTW, I figured out you to be very young:-). Nice to know about your children.
In India, one cannot imagine any function without children running riot. They will all be dressed in their finery and look cute and run around the entire place. In non-Christian weddings , the sound decibels and colors and chaos are part of a wedding. If the wedding is silent, we will feel something is amiss:-)
In Christian weddings, the children play outside, and the parents wilt take part in the mass. It is all adjusted and every one is happy!
Even here some children run amok, but are put into place by other people present, the parents are given some stern looks, which does nothing. One billion, you see.!
I love leaning about the approach of different cutures to different things. 😉 Tour weddings sound a colourful noisy affair. BTW I’m not young I’m pushing on 58 😦
Young at 58!
Interesting theme and a nice link on Child Free weddings.
